Juan Pablo's season of The Bachelor may have been dubbed The Most Dramatic Ever, but there was one good thing to come from the controversial character: Andi Dorfman, second runner-up and fan favorite, is the franchise's newest Bachelorette.
The Bachelorette's premiere was even better than we expected. First and foremost, Andi looked like dynamite in a glistening gem-encrusted sheath (with an embellished illusion back!) that the 25 guys went gaga over. The men already started intensely sizing up the competition, especially for that coveted first impression rose — and some lovelorn rejects lashed out at the camera upon exiting the house. There was even a party crasher, former Bachelorette and Bachelor Pad contestant Chris Bukowski, who just had to meet Andi because he was so struck by her. Out of fairness, Andi decided not meet the alum, who initially appeared on Emily Maynard's season.
Another reason why we loved the premiere? Picking out the future front-runners, of course! From a "pantsapreneur" to a traveling dreamer and former pro-baseball player, we picked six contestants who we think will make it to the hometown dates and possibly beyond!
Nick V, 33, a software sales executive from Chicago, IL: Nick V. nailed it — so much so that he was offered the coveted first impression rose! Although initially gun-shy, Andi was impressed with his sincere spirit. The second eldest of 11 siblings, Nick's family values, soft-spoken, and modest demeanor make him a viable candidate for Andi's heart.
Tasos, 30, a wedding event coordinator from Denver, CO: Tasos told Andi that he dreams of going to Paris to visit the famed love lock bridge and, hopefully, fasten a lock of their own at the romantic attraction. To compensate, he brought a lock of his own and symbolically hooked it to the mansion's gate. Andi admitted that Tasos is traditionally not her type, but that she finds him very interesting (he speaks three languages!). After all, her type, as she says, hasn't worked for her yet, so maybe it's time to switch it up.
J J, 30, a pantsapreneur from San Francisco, CA: Quirky and entreprenuerial, J J, a pants designer, wooed Andi by showing off his first pants print. Most importantly, his bubbly spirit would suit Andi well, a lighthearted girl who loves a good laugh.
Marquel, 26, a sponsorship salesman from Las Vegas, NV: Marquel knows the way to a girls heart: Cookies. Unafraid to show his true self, he treated Andi to a cookie tasting while making her smile. She appreciated his personality and his willingness to give her sweets.
Josh M., 29, a former professional baseball player from Atlanta, GA: When it comes to Andi's type, Josh, she admits, is it. While he came off a bit confident they share a hometown and he succeeded in making her laugh the entire conversation. Oh, and did we mention he's fine?
Marcus, 25, a sports medicine manager from Dallas, TX: Another very handsome suitor, Marcus charmed Andi with his worldliness and, as we already pointed out, good looks. Based in Texas, he shares her southern values, while also offering new cultures from his European (Polish and German) upbringing.
