Watch: Jenny Packham's Spring 2015 Bridal Runway Show

Wedding Dresses

It's not surprising that Kate Middleton is one of Jenny Packham's biggest fans: The wedding dress designer infuses every bridal collection with shimmering sheath silhouettes, intricate beading, and retro-inspired details like crystal waist brooches and fluttery necklines. Essentially, it's the ultimate in British glamour. For her Spring 2015 line, Packham looked to the photographs of British society photographer Madame Yevonde.

"Her stylised images of mythological heroines — Helen of Troy, Persephone, Venus — captured an ancient world of antiquity, within a modern and hauntingly beautiful treatment," Packham wrote in her inspiration statement.

"Soft buttermilks, champagnes, and warm blush carmel tones in sumptuous silk chiffon and ethereal tulle compliment traditional classic ivory," she continued. "Celestial capes, whimsical tiered hemlines and exquisite veils add a romantic, mythical affection to the collection whilst delicate French lace is adorned with signature breading and twinkling crystals in an array of molten golds, antique metallic silvers and rich alabasters."

The collection's streamlined skirts, delicate capes, goddess-like light draping, and fanciful crystal embellishments prove the success of her muse. She took exciting chances, like voluminous ruffled sleeves, ornate halter necklines, and plus-size friendly silhouettes, that complemented the Art Deco-era vibe she so perfectly encapsulates.
