Jenny Packham has become a force to be reckoned with in the bridal industry. Designing for some of the world's most influential style icons including the one and only Duchess of Cambridge, her red-carpet looks have catapulted her wedding dress collections, which are often full of romantic, free-flowing silhouettes and twinkling beaded embellishments, into the spotlight.

Brides Editor-in-Chief Keija Minor and Fashion Director Rachel Leonard caught up with Packham during London's White Gallery, the British bridal fashion week. Seated at Claridges, London's most famous afternoon tea spot, the ladies shared a cup of the U.K.'s finest brews, scones, and clotted cream while discussing Packham's inspiration for her Spring 2015 wedding dress collection (which debuts this Friday!), the celebrities she dreams of dressing, and her favorite wedding trends.

Here, five things you didn't know about the beloved British bridal designer — plus, a sneak peek at sketches from her latest collection.

Packham: Choose a dress that suits your style. You should feel wonderful and glamorous.

With Bridal Fashion Week kicking off this Thursday, Packham shared exclusive sketches from her upcoming Spring 2015 bridal runway show, too:
