Why Is Scarlett Johansson Calling Herself "Selfish"?

Scarlett Johannson Talks Family and Work

Bride-to-be, future mom, gorgeous, talented, and charitable are all words we'd use to describe Scarlett Johansson. A word we wouldn't use? Selfish. But the engaged star declares herself just that in a new profile with the WSJ Magazine.

"It seems so stressful to not be able to spend time with your family because you're constantly chasing the tail of your own success," Johansson, who is engaged to journalist Romain Dauriac, says. "There must exist a world in which I can balance those things, be able to raise a family and still make a film a year, or work on my own, develop things, do theatre. I want to be able to have it all. Selfishly."

The bombshell's desire to balance work and family seems perfectly normal (and entirely unselfish!) to us. But with plenty of expecting celebs enjoying busy careers and future families, we think Johannson has nothing to worry about.

Also, the Captain America star should have no problem juggling domestic and acting duties if her laid-back approach to wedding planning is any indication. When recently asked about prepping for her nuptials, Johansson was totally calm, telling Access Hollywood, "I like to wing it!"

There is one thing she is giving some thought, though: where her new family will settle down. The New York City native, whose fiancé hails from France, has hopes of settling in someplace entirely new. "I've been thinking lately that maybe it's good to move to some faraway country where you can ski," Johansson told Craig Ferguson on The Late Late Show. "I was thinking, maybe it would be nice to move to Switzerland."

Does this mean we can expect a snowy, slope-side wedding for the couple? Given her intimate wedding with Ryan Reynolds, the details for ScarJo's second marriage will likely be kept quiet. That said, we'd love to see the bombshell actress host a wintry soiree.
