Valentina and Eric
Eric's proposal to Valentina involved reliving all of their "firsts" — from the place they first met to their first date (mini-golf and arcade games) to the first apartment they shared. From sunny San Diego, this self-described "goofy" couple both work in higher education and support the Make-A-Wish Foundation to provide terminally-ill children with the opportunity to have their dreams come true. Though an airport bag search almost ruined the surprise, Mike asked Lynn to be his bride at a restaurant overlooking Niagara Falls — appropriately named Milestones. Mike, a pharmacist, and Lynn, a pediatric hematology and oncology nurse, support the Ronald McDonald House, since they've seen first-hand the difference the organization makes in the lives of families with children battling cancer.
