We didn't think it was possible to love the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge even more than we already do—but then we saw this: The royal couple spent their Valentine's Day sharing their love with others rather than simply relaxing and spending it together.
Kate, looking as radiant as ever in a sky blue L.K. Bennet dress, attended the opening of one of her charities, The Art Room, at Northolt High School. The Art Room helps children between the ages of 5 and 16 build self confidence through the creativity of art. People reports that the Duchess arrived at the school to a cheering crowd of kids. The new mother then sat with a group of eight students in the class. Norholt's head teacher, Gloria Lowe said, "She praised the work in the Art Room, and she was moved and impressed by what she has seen. She's a wonderful human being." And although she wasn't with her prince, Kate did receive an absolutely beautiful Valentine's Day bouquet of flowers from the school.
Will, on the other hand, spent the day alongside his brother, Prince Harry, helping place sandbags in Datchet, Berkshire, a residential area affected by recent floods.
While they didn't spend this day of romance together, we love that the royal couple each did something they love—giving back to others. In fact, if you're looking for a new way to celebrate Valentine's Day this year (or next), it might be worth taking a page from the Duke and Duchess's book and use Valentine's day as a time to give back. Now that's an idea we love!
