Your bridesmaids aren't just your closest friends and family members, they're the girls who help you get things done during the hectic wedding planning process. Once you've decided who your bridesmaids should be, what type of dress they should wear, and who should pay for what, you need to help them stay on track for the big day! From planning the bridal shower and bachelorette party, to coordinating dress alterations, beauty treatments, and confirming travel, there's a ton that you and your girls needs to remember. Here, a timeline for what your bridesmaids should be doing—and when.
Three months out
This is the time to check in with your maid of honor! How's the bridal shower planning going? What's on tap for the bachelorette? Just see how she's doing and make sure something's in the works.
Two months out
Now, time to check-in with your bridesmaids! Have their dresses arrived? Do they
need alterations? Are all of their hair and makeup appointments booked? If not, make sure to get all of those logistics taken care of, stat!
One week out
One week before your wedding is the time to confirm your bridesmaids' travel plans are set and that they've bought all of the necessary apparel and accessories. Make sure to host a special lunch for your best gal pals to say thanks.
D-Day (aka your wedding day!)
Spend quality time with each one of your attendants. Make them feel loved. They've worked hard for you it's now time to show them some appreciation in return!
