Pretty much every bride strives for wedding day perfection, but the fact is, where there are big crowds, white dresses, and colored beverages, there will be bloopers. And while some big things could go wrong on your wedding day, we think that these mishaps are worthy of laughter, not tears, and will just make your wedding day that much more memorable and unique.

1. A pint-sized attendant steals the show. Kids (and pets, too!) always bring a degree of spontaneity and unpredictability to a wedding, and if this frightens you, you might rethink your idea of having three flower girls and a Siberian Husky as a ring bearer! Your flower girl might burst into tears halfway down the aisle, or decide to chuck the flower petals at her uncle in the back of the church. Your sweet pooch, resplendent in a doggie bow tie, might make a run for the bushes—wedding rings still tied around his neck. But, you know what? These little snafus will likely get a chuckle from your crowd while they wait for the really important part— your walk down the aisle!

2. Drunk uncle. It's funny on SNL. At your wedding? Maybe not so much! Still, this is one scenario you might need to laugh off. If you're serving drinks at your reception, be prepared for a few bloopers from guests who may embarrass themselves. People love to let loose at weddings, and if you go into your reception with the mindset that there could be some alcohol-fueled mishaps on the dance floor (and perhaps even on the mic), you'll cringe less when they actually play out. (Note: You can mitigate the damage by asking a trusted friend to keep an eye on the guests who are prone to over-doing it.)

3. A groomsman faints. You've probably seen YouTube videos of this one, and obviously it's not funny if one of your nearest and dearest gets hurt. This is a good time to remind everyone in your wedding party not to lock their knees during the ceremony!

4. You get cake on your face. We get it—you and your fiancé promised you wouldn't smash cake in each other's faces... but now here you are, wiping buttercream from your chin. Remember that your new hubby probably just got caught up in the moment, and that moment is being photographed! Be the fun bride who can laugh about it (and plot your payback strategy later!).
