Kim Kardashian said Kanye West would get "whatever he wanted" for their wedding, and now it appears she's making good on that promise!
During her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, Kardashian revealed just how involved West is in planning their wedding.
"I know they think or they say the guy usually doesn't care and just shows up," she said. "Kanye really cares and he's really passionate about it so that makes my job so much easier." Marrying someone like West, who "knows what he wants" when it comes to his nuptials, as Kardashian put it, certainly makes wedding planning more of a collaborative effort.
In that vein, she elaborated on what, exactly, her outspoken fiancé is in charge of, and what details she's handling. "We're kind of taking different roles, like he'll take care of the music; I'll take care of the seating chart," she explained. "Different stuff like that. So we're making it really easy on each other."
We're all for couples dividing the wedding-planning labor! And while it can be hard for some grooms-to-be to get excited about the process, tailoring their responsibilities to their interests is always a good idea. In this case, we're not surprised West is relying on musical talents (and, no doubt, connections) to pick the perfect band or DJ. We're also sure that he'll lend his super-discerning fashion eye to his ensemble—and maybe even Kim's!
During her interview, Kardashian also clarified reports that they are considering getting married at Versailles Palace.

"We took a private tour," she said, clearing up speculation about their wedding venue-hunting trip to Paris last weekend. "Him and I have never been there so we just wanted a tour and of course everyone thought we were picking that as our wedding place and all of that. But we will be getting married this summer hopefully in Paris," she added. "We love it there."
She finished with one final juicy detail: She'll take West's name after they get married! "I'll be Kim Kardashian...move that to my middle name...West," she said.
Take her or leave her, we do love the future Mrs. West's reliable openness about her impending nuptials!
