When it comes to any details about her wedding, Zoë Saldana has remained completely silent. Until now!
The Out of the Furnace actress finally confirmed on Jimmy Kimmel Live Tuesday night that she did indeed marry artist Marco Perego this past in June.
Better yet, now that she's finally owning the previously-leaked details about her private life, she's getting a bit defensive about them! Immediately after confirming her marriage, she and Kimmel, who married Molly McNearney in July, tried to one-up each other with the details of their nuptials.
After they both congratulated one another on their respective weddings, Kimmel jabbed: "It's not a competition, though. We don't need to just go around getting married."
"Where did you get married?" the Star Trek star immediately asked.
"I got married in Ojai, which is about an hour away from here," Kimmel explained of his California wedding location. "It's in the desert. And you?"
"I got married in England. I did it in England. Can you top that?" the 35-year-old actress retorted.
"Uh, no," Kimmel said.
"So it is a competition, I guess," Saldana said, shutting it down.
We love how after nearly six months of being tight-lipped about her small-scale, British nuptials, Saldana is not only owning up to her "I do," but bragging about it. We are a bit disappointed, though, that all other details are still sealed. We can only imagine the stunning movie star wore a body-conscious and modern wedding dress (as she recently did to the 2013 AFI Fest, above!). Her hair, too, was sure to be a scene-stealer. Her red carpet hairstyles—like her finger-waved Gatsby-esque 'do and wavy low bun—have served as major wedding-worthy hair inspiration again and again.
Official congrats are in order for Saldana, maybe in six months time we'll finally see a wedding photo? Hey, we can dream!
