By the time your big day arrives, you'll most likely have every aspect of your wedding beauty look planned—from your hair, to your eyebrows, to your manicure. But your wedding day is bound to be as long as it is fun. Tears, hugs, the hora—all that fun means your romantic hairstyle and makeup aren't going to stay put all night. With all of the bouncing around, no amount of pre-wedding beauty prep, primer, or long-lasting lipstick will keep your face or hair picture perfect throughout the entire ceremony and reception. Cue your trusty touch-up kit: Kimara Ahnert of New York's Kimara Ahnert Beauty Studio advises on what to keep in that handy bag. (P.S. Ask your maid of honor to carry it, and have your photographer tell you when you need a touch-up!)

1. Lipstick
With all that kissing, you're going to need to reapply frequently.

2. Blotting Paper
A wedding requires serious shine control—especially once the dancing starts.

3. Eye Shadow
Reapply a few strokes of eye shadow post-ceremony to make your eyes pop.

4. Q-tips
They're the perfect way to smooth out eye creases.

5. Waterproof Mascara & Eyeliner
Just in case they don't stay put through the tears.

6. Blush
You'll need to adjust it as the lighting changesĀ—a lighter touch for day, a heavier one at night.

7. A Toothbrush and Hairspray
Spritz the toothbrush, then use it to target and tame flyaways.

8. Hairpins
Must-haves if your updo comes loose.
