It's no surprise that we love a stylish white dress. Whether a bride is dressed in one on her wedding day, a designer is sending one down the runway at Bridal Fashion Week, or a celebrity is rocking one on the red carpet, a white dress is a classic, fresh, and chic blank slate for accessories. Plus, the hue is ripe with possibilities for new interpretations—we think it should be every celebrity's go-to color! This week, we scoured the Internet for the best ivory, cream, and eggshell gowns to bring you these stunning, wedding-worthy looks.

Prince William also attended this event at London's Kensington Palace on Nov. 26, and let's be real: We'd also get decked out in Reem Acra's finest if we were about to meet the dreamy Duke of Cambridge and perform with Bon Jovi at the same soiree. Swift loves a cream-colored dress, and the jewel-encrusted illusion bodice on this number is the perfect counterpoint to the flowy, ivory skirt. Her supremely elegant hairstyle and signature red lip hit exactly the right beauty notes for the dazzling dress. What can we say? She looks regal and sophisticated—precisely the way we'd dress for a royal-adjacent wedding.

It's been a while since we've seen the former Lost star out and about, but her standout appearance at the premiere of her new movie makes us glad that's changed. Her dress hits on some of the same ideas as Swift's: A textured bodice with a flowing white skirt (not that there's anything wrong with that). However, the steel gray hue of the top, mixed with the cutouts and sporty neckline, are totally unique to this gown. We're also head over heels in love with her fishtail braid. Boho brides, take a cue from that style and remember that any braid adds indie intrigue to even the most elegant dress.

12 Years a Slave star Nyong'o has already made countless divine fashion statements during her short time on the scene, but this ladylike tea-length number is the first we'd tell brides to wear to their wedding. The cream bow and waist ribbon play off the snow-white color of the dress, but it's her tangerine shoes that really make a splash. Cropped hair and drop earrings complement, rather than overpower, the shoes. Brides saying "I do" at a courthouse ceremony can duplicate this look, but it would also work for a daytime spring wedding. Audrey Hepburn would absolutely approve.
