Ever since Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton both won Country Music Awards for the same category in their respective fields just a few weeks ago, we've looked to country's power couple as a pillar of marital strength. But that might all be changing: Miranda Lambert is apparently aiding one of Blake Shelton's competing judges on the hit NBC show The Voice.

Lambert is reportedly betraying her husband of two-and-a-half years with fellow female singer Shakira when she returns to judge the show's sixth season next year. The next season will air next spring (season five of The Voice is still currently on the air).

"Shakira and Miranda got along well," a source told Us Weekly of the partnership. "Blake joked that Miranda was helping another coach. But it was in good fun."

This news comes at an interesting time for the pair, especially because rumors have been flying around that the celebrity power couple's relationship status is on the rocks. Shelton, though, vehemently denies the critiques, and publicly declares his infatuation with his Mrs. on Twitter. He even said in a recent interview with CBS This Morning interview, "We had our ups and downs for damn sure along the way. I just could not imagine her not being in my life. I just couldn't get over her. I know I can't."

The last time Lambert was on the show, she was helping her hubby. But now, she's opting to fire things up in the relationship with a little healthy competition. As long as they don't get too riled working against one another, going head to head can only bring a bit of excitement to the pair's marriage.
