Hilary Rhoda, super model and fashion darling who's graced Victoria's Secret runway, acted as the face of Esteé Lauder, and appeared in Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Issue, is engaged to her retired NHL player beau, Sean Avery, according to an exclusive PEOPLE report. The news is exquisitely well-timed for Rhoda: She is walking in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show tonight!
"We are excited to plan the most beautiful and fun wedding that we could ever imagine," the newly engaged couple told the magazine.
Avery, who played for the Detroit Red Wings, the Los Angeles Kings, the Dallas Stars and the New York Rangers during his 12-year NHL career, is a former Vogue intern who currently works for a creative agency. The pair began dating in 2010.

A source told PEOPLE that the pair are planning to wed sometime next year and are "thinking of Jamaica." A supermodel and an athlete tying the knot at a paradise-like destination wedding? We love the idea of that! With the island's collection of luxe resorts, they won't have to travel further for a relaxing honeymoon getaway.
Though the beauty has an active social media presence, she's been mum on her big news. That means no snapshots of her engagement ring nor an overjoyed couple selfie. That's not stopping us from picking out some dream wedding dresses that we can envision her expertly pulling off. She'll clearly have the lingerie on lock, so we thought these form-fitting, mermaid-style wedding dresses hot off the Fall 2014 Bridal Fashion Week runways would accentuate her statuesque figure. The Naeem Khan (top) is both glam and romantic with its petal-like details, while Vera Wang's coral-colored strapless number (underneath) begs to be worn for a destination wedding. If she wants to ditch that style and go for something more flowy, Jenny Packham's strapless ivory dress (bottom) has "formal beach wedding" written all over it. Either way, she can't go wrong! Congratulations!
