Droves of designers from across the pond showed during Bridal Fashion Week this season. We asked six of them to dish on their collections, their dream clients, and their favorite places to see, shop, and stay in NYC. Below, British bridal designer Suzanne Neville dishes on why her dresses are so flattering.

Brides: Is this the first time you are showing in New York?

Suzanne Neville: Yes, though our gowns have sold well through the Wedding Atelier in New York for many years.

Brides: How long have you been in the biz?

SN: Since 1991. I have three showrooms, and more than 50 independent bridal boutiques sell my gowns in the U.K.

Brides: Describe your bride.

SN: She appreciates quality, great fit, and diverse styling.

Brides: What makes your collection unique?

SN: I'm known as the corset queen. My gowns are cut to flatter and have lots of structure.

Brides: What celebrity would you love to dress for her wedding?

SN: Jennifer Lawrence.

Brides: What's the most over-the-top thing you've seen at a wedding?

SN: Snow machines were installed outside so when the guests left the hotel, it looked like it was snowing!

Brides: Where are you staying while you're here?

SN: The Empire Hotel.

Brides: Which shops will you hit?

SN: Bergdorf Goodman. I shop for key pieces when I'm in New York.

Brides: The one spot you always visit in NYC?

SN: What Goes Around Comes Around for design inspiration and vintage Chanel!
