Settle an argument for me: I want a green cake to match our palette, but my fiancé says green looks unappetizing. Who's right?

It depends on the shade we're talking about. Pale hues like mint and celadon look sweet and delicious. But a completely emerald or forest-green cake? Not so much. For bright or dark tones, keep most of the cake neutral and embellish it with green details, like ribbons or leaves.
