Early reports of Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied's nighttime weekend wedding offered scarcely more details than that the couple married in an outdoor, traditional Jewish ceremony. But what did the new mom wear to wed her ballet-dancing beau?—that's what we really wanted to know. Turns out Portman kept in step with the reverent tone by dawning a tea-length a-line white dress designed by her friends behind the fashion line Rodarte, sisters Laura and Kate Mulleavy.
The dress featured a high, illusion neckline over a strapless bodice (an ideal option for modern coverage), with long, sheer sleeves accented by rosettes at the shoulder and a low-cut scoop back. Portman topped the look off with a tulle veil and a garland of white flowers around her head. No word yet on what the couple's 14-month-old son, Aleph, wore to watch mom and dad walk down the aisle, although we're holding out that a tiny, celebrity baby-sized yamaka made it into the ensemble.
