To celebrate Jennifer Aniston's engagement to Justin Theroux, Brides asked some of the biggest names in bridal design to sketch wedding dresses befitting everyone's favorite 'Friend.'
Claire Pettibone's sketch for Jennifer Aniston evokes the same garden-ready romance as the Pettibone gown worn by Priscilla Chan—wife of Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg—for her backyard wedding in May. That dress, from the designer's Fall 2010 collection, featured a laser-cut floral overlay, sweetheart illusion neckline, matte sequins, and a chapel-length train. Should Aniston opt for a similarly low-key affair, this design's illusion tulle bodice with appliquéd Chantilly lace, toile buttons, and a linen skirt trimmed in guipure lace should make just as sweet a statement—which, when you consider that Jen is basically America's girl next door, might be just what the wedding gods ordered.
