Another day, another Italian hotspot: Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan first hit up Rome, and are now visiting the celebrity-studded Amalfi Coast. This gorgeous seaside stretch, which includes the popular towns of Positano, Ravello, and Amalfi, has seen two other high-profile honeymoon couples in the past year: Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth, and Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries.
At least Kim and Kris knew how to do the honeymoon right. They holed up in the splashy Santa Caterina's two-level Romeo and Juliet suite, which has private terrace and heated infinity pool. (P.S., the regular rooms, all of which face the sea, are lovely too—airy, white-washed, with hand-painted ceramic tile floors. From $525.)
Reese and Jim checked into the area's other swanky hotel, Le Sirenuse, which won top honors in our April Honeymoon Awards with Virtuoso. Here, couples take complimentary spins in the resort's charming wooden boat, Sant'Antonio; sit by the pool, which is surrounded by lemon-trees; or go all out at the Champagne and Oyster Bar. The 59 rooms are equally as lovely, with spectacular vaulted ceilings and marble bathrooms stocked with luxurious Frette robes. From $498.
Traveling on a tight budget? Villa Scarpariello Relais, has a great location between Ravello and Amalfi, a swimming pool set in natural rock and private access to a beach. Rooms, though basic, are wildly affordable at $162 a night.
