Like many designers who travel between the ready-to-wear and bridal worlds, Dennis Basso maintains a consistent message throughout his season. "My most recent ready-to-wear collection was inspired by the days of grand travel and The Orient Express," he says. "My bridal collection for this season as well is about sophisticated elegant dressing that redefines luxury in a modern way."

If you're just as inspired by the designer's destination theme, you'll want to pack your grandest luggage to house this Basso ball gown (above), which features four tiers of pleated lace and a strapless, corseted bodice. "This gown is for the bride who wants a touch of tradition—a ball gown silhouette—but who clearly has a feeling for the look of today—bare shoulders and a very fitted bodice."
