As a bridesmaid for a friend's Palm Springs wedding last weekend, Jessica Simpson ushered in a new season of maxi dresses wearing a light, pastel-printed halter style with a tie at the waist. While we doubt the super-pregnant star will wear the dress again (unless she holds on for baby #2), the soft palette and easy shape offered the other bridesmaids—including Jessica's younger sister Ashlee—a great summer gown for a range of occasions.
