Lips at Thakoon

Bold, brightly colored lips were all over the runways at New York Fashion Week, but I was especially wowed by the arresting orange-red lip color featured at Thakoon (not to mention the Audrey Hepburn-inspired dress silhouettes!). I love the matte finish—the bold color is deep and saturated, without any shimmer or shine. The models in the Thakoon show wore NARS Heat Wave lipstick (pictured above); here are some other favorite matte-finish options in similar fiery-orange hues.
