Jill and Daniel first met in 2008, after being introduced by mutual friends. "They'd been trying to set us up for months," says Jill. "Once we finally met, we knew instantly that we'd found the person we'd spend the rest of our lives with."

For their wedding, Jill wore an Amy Kuschel gown purchased from Bliss Bride in Del Mar; she accessorized with Christian Louboutin heels and a custom silk sash she ordered when she visited the Amy Kuschel showroom during a trip to San Francisco. The stems of her peony bouquet were wrapped in lace from her mother's wedding gown.

Jill's bridesmaids wore lavender silk chiffon Priscilla of Boston dresses in styles they chose themselves, purchased from The White Dress.

The traditional Jewish ceremony was held at the Marston House Garden. The bride's parents escorted her down the aisle toward the chuppah covered in floral designs by Green Fresh Florals.

The couple provided their guests with transportation from the ceremony to the reception, which took place at Ave 5 Restaurant in San Diego. "We loved the cool vibe of this modern, loft-style spot," Jill says. They worked with event planner Brooke Keegan on all the wedding details. Reception tables were decorated with taper candles and low arrangements of white flowers.

During dinner, guests enjoyed short ribs, sea bass, and wild mushroom tortellini; all catering was provided by the restaurant. A friend of the couple created the cake, which was topped with a sugar anemone. Guests also enjoyed lemon tarts and chocolate cake with a berry compote.

For their first dance, Jill and Daniel chose "Better Man" by James Morrison, spun by DJ Angel Hernandez. "We performed a choreographed dance—nobody expected it!" Jill says. During the reception, the newlyweds' parents, siblings, and best friends offered poignant toasts. "We laughed and cried a lot," says the bride. Later, the celebration moved to a nearby hotel for an impromptu after-party.
