Adding to its popular SoftShades collection, OPI announced this week that it will launch six new polishes in April inspired by the New York City Ballet. Drawing on the premiere dance company's artistic legacy and the elegance of its dancers, choreography, and costumes, OPI created five sheer hues in white, pink, beige, purple, and gray—ideal colors to pair with your wedding look.
While the shades work on their own as neutrals, once you layer them under OPI's sixth new polish—a silver glittery lacquer—the colors come to life like one of NYCB's pirouetting ballerinas. (A manicure pas de deux, if you will.) Equally as entertaining are the ballet-nerd names bestowed on the colors, like "My Pointe Exactly," "Don't Touch My Tutu!," and "Care to Danse?" Why yes we do. With shades this inspiring, we won't be able to stop dancing.
