While I wasn't able to make it to New Orleans for Mardi Gras this year, I am planning to host my very own Mardi Gras-themed party, complete with Louisiana-style King Cake and green and purple French macarons. To complement the theme, I also found some festive favors, which could also work if you're throwing a Mardi Gras-themed wedding.
These leather masks (above) by Tom Banwell Designs have a theatrical, celebratory quality; plus, they're super comfortable so guests can stay in character all night long.

The fishnet-stocking casing and red-mask applique on this limited edition French Cancan, $55, are a collaboration between designer Jean Paul Gauitier and the French champagne house Piper-Heidsieck. I ordered a few bottles of the bubbly to kick off tonight's festivities and can easily image a bride and groom doing the same.
