Just when we had Jessica Chastain all figured out, the actress revealed a new layer to her style, donning not our streamlined Douglas Hannant pick to this year's Oscars but an ornately embroidered Alexander McQueen creation instead. Alas, all's fair in fashion! Plus, we have to admit we love Chastain's choice for its gilded couture detailing and classic silhouette, which The Help star accented with a simple half-up hairstyle and teardrop yellow diamond earrings. For a gown with this much visual impact, the styling creates a flawless combo.
Make the look your own with this blush bridal interpretation from Lazaro's Fall 2012 collection, much of which featured embellishments on par with McQueen's design. This gown in particular mirrors the organic, vine-like scrolling that twines up Chastain's skirt and across the bodice. And although we think Lazaro merits a wedding-worthy spin on the original, brides should be conscious that the drop-waisted ball gown translates into a more formal style than the flowing line of the original look.
