While dining at the Golden Nugget's Chart House during a trip to Las Vegas with Lynn, Sandra was surprised to see a diver in the restaurant's oversize fish tank holding up a sign that read, "Will you marry me?" At first, she looked toward a couple seated nearby, but then the diver flipped over the sign to complete the sentence: "Will you marry me, Sandra?" A year later, the couple wed.

Sandra selected a dramatic Vera Wang gown from Couture Bride. Her nine bridesmaids also donned dresses by Vera Wang, while two junior bridesmaids wore custom designs by Jenny Kim Couture.

The ceremony and reception were held at The Corinthian. The deeor at the ceremony evoked romantic French gardens. Gold Chiavari chairs, candles, and urns filled with roses, lilacs, and hydrangeas were placed throughout the room.

After the ceremony, the 250 guests headed to the venue's mezzanine level to enjoy cocktails and nibble on hors d'oeuvres while the main floor was transformed into an intimate dining area lit by chandeliers and candles. Tables were topped with centerpieces of roses, hydrangeas, and lilacs arranged in wrought-iron vessels with pillar candles. All florals were by David Brown Flowers.

The colorful blooms popped against the neutral tones of the linens and menu cards. The evening's meal included artichoke lemon chicken, creamed spinach, whipped potatoes, and grilled asparagus. Catering was provided by Jackson and Company Catering.

The elaborate seven-tier wedding cake incorporated white chocolate, vanilla, and raspberry flavors, with fresh flowers accenting each layer. "We had so much cake!" says Sandra. The grand confection was by Who Made the Cake!

For their first dance the couple chose T.V. Carpio's cover of "I Want to Hold Your Hand." Later, the newlyweds made their exit as guests tossed white and pink rose petals. "Originally, we were going to London for our honeymoon," says Sandra, "but we put the plans on hold after we found out that we're expecting our first baby!"
