Philadelphia's couture cupcake shop, Cupcakes Gourmet, is now offering its popular red velvet cupcake with a sparkling addition—a $55,000 engagement ring from Warwick Jewelers. The 8-carat diamond ring is also available in select smaller variations starting from a half-carat offered at a 15-percent discount from Warwick.
To purchase the cupcake, contact any of Cupcakes Gourmet's three locations at least three days in advance of the proposal to select a ring. Sweetening the deal further still, if you're the first person to buy a sparkling red velvet cupcake, you'll also receive free cupcakes at your wedding from the shop.
