It's a dreary, drizzly day in New York City but my spirits definitely brightened after stumbling upon this beautiful wedding cake by Flower & Flour in Wilmington, NC. Navy-colored bands of fondant are twisted together to resemble nautical rope—a wonderfully subtle way to reference a waterside wedding venue. And how incredibly realistic-looking are those gumpaste peonies and peony buds? Thank goodness for the zoomed-in photos because I literally had to do a double-take. —Heather Lee
