Meet Daniel, a Brooklyn groom we featured this year in a laid-back Labor Day weekend wedding that he and his bride Melanie crafted to feel like an end-of-summer barbecue. Normally, one wears shorts and a collared shirt to such gatherings, but not Daniel. No, he barbecues in Burberry.
Channeling the "casual, stylish, and fun atmosphere" of his wedding, Daniel donned a blue Hugo Boss suit and a patterned Burberry tie, which he accented with a skull-printed pocket square and a silver tie clip. It's the kind of unapologetically cool style we crave in a man, and the reason why Daniel tops our list of the best-dressed grooms of the year.

Matt in Carmel Valley, CA—James Bond's got nada on this British groom in an understated, navy Theory suit, a timeless look for an intimate garden wedding.
Will in Tahoe City, CA —Leonardo DiCaprio's performance as Jay Gatsby will no doubt capture our attention in 2012, but this year's Gatsby-inspired look belongs to this groom, who sported a custom white-jacket tuxedo and black pocket square for his decadent 1920s affair.
