Runway Sneak Peek:
Watters Brides Sketch

Wedding Dresses

Illustration: Courtesy of the designer

This year marks the 25th Anniversary for Watters Brides, and, in celebration, the team will present a collection inspired by the cornerstones of the Watters design philosophy: unique detailing, beautiful fabrics, and timeless silhouettes. The gown shown here, called Elizabeth, uses strategically placed, re-embroidered lace along the bodice and skirt to contour the body and create the illusion of a smaller waist. The rest of the collection will feature hammered charmeuse, silk mousseline, and unusual mixtures of fabrics, like tulle and washed organza. Other details you will see are mother of pearl beads, and old lace patterns interpreted into intricate beading. For more designs from Watters, browse our Wedding Dresses gallery. —Phillip B. Crook
