"We love this strapless taffeta gown because of its unique silhouette and volume," designers Mark Badgley and James Mischka said of this gown from their Fall 2012 collection. "The beading at the neckline is super chic and adds a vintage touch to a modern gown." The pair wanted to create a new sense of shape and volume with this collection, exploring the work of Italian futurist sculptor Umberto Boccioni for ideas on the organic movement of the body through space. Expect to see designs cut from silk taffeta, lace, chiffon, and organza, all featuring Badgley Mischka's signature vintage-inspired beading and embroideries.
