We normally steer clear of blatant self-promotion, but our new virtual makeover tools are just too cool not to share with you here on the blog. We've spent the last six months developing our virtual bridal salon, which lets you "try on" wedding dresses before ever stepping foot into a boutique.

The tool is super easy to use—simply upload a photo of yourself (preferably wearing something strapless and form-fitting) to the BRIDES Dressing Room. Next, adjust your body shape using the teal-colored "fit points" that appear onscreen. And... that's it! You're ready to try on dresses. Sort gowns by designer, silhouette, neckline, and price, or try on dresses that were recently featured here on Brides.com and in BRIDES Magazine. Then save your favorite looks and share them on Facebook or Twitter.

Your bridesmaids and mom can also visit the BRIDES Dressing Room to virtually try on bridesmaid dresses and mother-of-the-bride dresses.

Once you're "dressed," visit the BRIDES Beauty Salon to virtually experiment with wedding makeup and hairstyles. Experiment with editor-approved one-click hair and makeup looks and celebrity-inspired styles, or play with our virtual makeup palettes. Just click on a makeup color or hairstyle, and it will automatically appear on your face. You can then adjust the amount of product or the color of your hair to get the right look.

Once you find a style you love, print your photo and share it with your makeup artist or hairstylist. Going the DIY route? Print a shopping list so you can easily find the products you used.
