Surprise, you're going to a wedding on a tropical island! No, not you, but that's how friends and family of Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey learned they'd be joining the reality couple for a beach ceremony when plane tickets arrived at their homes. The 35 guests flew to a secret location for the Friday nuptials, which TLC filmed for Nick & Vanessa's Dream Wedding airing on July 30. Minnillo wore a two-piece Monique Lhuillier gown with a rose and crystal-embellished lace corset, hand-tufted silk faille skirt, and black ribbon at the waist. We'll have to wait until later this month to see all the details, but, for now, one has to wonder how well a lace and tuffted dress worked on the beach. That just sounds...hot. Maybe Minnillo should have seen our pick for her instead. —Phillip B. Crook
