Question of the Week

When we asked you about removing a bride's garter during the wedding reception (check out Beyoncé's verision here), most of you came out strongly in favor of ditching the custom, for fear of being a little too risqué. Evangelia Kariotaki quipped, "200 people do not need to see my fiancé groping my inner thigh." But another reader, Kanaej, made a compelling counterpoint, "No I don't think it was too much! He didn't put on a performance. He didn't go up her dress. The garter was positioned so he couldn't go up her dress. This was a very toned down version of ones I have seen where the groom deep sea dives under the dress. I thought this was classy."

This week, we've got another hot button issue for you to address: Kris Jenner, mother of bride-to-be Kim Kardashian, went under the knife recently for a facelift in preparation for her daughter's upcoming nuptials. Kris claims that Kim encouraged her to undergo the procedure: "Kim will walk by me and discreetly whisper into my ear, 'Gobble, gobble.' That means, 'Mom, it would be nice if you got your chin tucked." (Watch a clip of the surgery from an upcoming episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.) So we want to know, would you ever encourage your parent to get a little work done before your big day? —Louisa Bilbrough
