If you're going to be applying your own makeup on your wedding day and wearing a décolletage-revealing gown, make sure that your neck and chest match the color of your face. "Room lighting may be tricky," says New Jersey-based makeup artist Susmta Patel of Studio Sush. "Pat some powder on your chest and neck to even out your tone, but before doing so, insert paper towels securely into the top of your neckline to avoid a messy dress." Susmta also recommends blending the foundation around your neck and hairline to avoid multicolored skin in photos and steering clear of shimmery bronzers and blush since they don't translate well on camera.
