"I'd always dreamed of the kind of send-off you see in movies, complete with tin cans trailing behind the 'getaway car.' Instead of a car, Juan and I hired a boat to wait for us at the end of the pier and got in as our guests waved goodbye and wished us well. While the boat's owners, a lovely couple who've been married for more than 40 years, drove us away, they shared memories about their own wedding day.
