Michael Kors for Marriage Equality Window Display

NY, NJ and CT

First Marc Jacobs, now Michael Kors. The fashion designer has teamed up with the Human Rights Campaign, displaying two wedding cakes topped with same-sex couples in his New York City West Village store. The statement in support of marriage equality comes at the start of New York's gay pride week and during the fight to pass a gay marriage bill in the state legislature. The state assembly already passed the bill for the fourth time, sending it once again to the senate, where the bill still needs one more Republican vote to pass. So keep your fashiony fingers crossed. —Phillip B. Crook
