Marc Jacobs's Window Display Promotes Marriage Equality

Marc Jacobs's West Village store in New York City is playing host to a springtime wedding—minus a real couple, guests, and actual nuptials. The store's window display is arranged as a daisy-themed ceremony in support of the Human Rights Campaign's fight for New York marriage equality, indicated by the two female mannequins walking down the aisle together. But if that wasn't clear enough to passersby, the window also reads like a wedding invitation: "You're invited: Marc Jacobs and HRC request your support for New York Marriage Equality." See, fashion does have a heart. —Phillip B. Crook
