You may have loved the lace-sleeved, long-trained Alexander McQueen by Sarah Burton dress on Duchess Kate, but that doesn't necessarily mean you love McQueen. The British house's aesthetic is far more wackadoo than that regal gown illustrates—and by wackadoo, that's not to say that McQueen craftsmanship isn't of the highest grade, because it is. Although Kate wore custom satin and lace McQueen pumps, a characteristic McQueen bride is more likely to choose shoes like these sculpted resin leaf and leather wedge sandals, $3,495, inspired by the late designer's recurring fantasy nature motif. Certainly you'd need to wear an ultra-minimalist or hyper-detailed dress (McQueen's all about extremes) to make these shoes work—so we want to know: Would you wear these wedding shoes on your day? —Phillip B.
