Courtesy of Alfred Angelo
This Alfred Angelo gown defines the rest of the collection, which pays tribute to legendary supper clubs and iconic Big Band singers: Peggy Lee, Doris Day, Rosemary Clooney, and Dinah Shore. "It's a fresh take on showing off the female form and highlighting brides' assets through draping [and] mixing fabrics, as well as featuring a contemporary and romantic new billowing skirt shape," says the designer. "It's an unexpected remix of tradition. It's feminine, yet sultry, contemporary, yet classic, but always memorable and breathtaking." Expect to see lace, gossamer and other sheer fabrics, feathers, and flowers all adding a vintage feel to ball gowns and sheaths.
