Royal Wedding, Wedding Dresses

As part of its Royal Wedding coverage (only two more days!), CBS's The Early Show asked us to put on a fashion show of princess-inspired wedding dresses. Bridal gowns and princesses? That we can do. Our Editor-in-Chief Julie Raimondi appeared on the show from London this morning to present five royal trends we loved from the Spring 2012 collections. First up was the Disney Fairy Tale Weddings by Alfred Angelo gown, which embodied the classic princess ballgown with its voluminous tiered tulle skirt, while the more understated Junko Yoshioka dress complemented the oh-so-British wedding hat trend. The Lazaro gown was all about drama with a textured skirt and intricate beading, and the Legends by Romona Keveza dress demonstrated a trend we're obsessed with: lace sleeves! But no princess fashion report would be complete without a giant train, which is why we chose a cathedral-length Douglas Hannant gown. Which of the highlighted trends was Julie's favorite?
