In case you haven't yet swiped the latest People from the newsstand, here's the breakdown on Reese Witherspoon's custom Monique Lhuillier wedding dress:
- The color: We knew it was a pale pink, but, oh, is it ever pale—like, the softest of baby pinks or...really diluted pink lemonade.
- The cut: Reese chose a full-length A-line tulle skirt with a corset bodice made of Chantilly lace. We're digging the mixture of fabrics and textures.
- The wow factor: Not only was it pink, but Reese's dress featured a double-faced silk satin ribbon at the waist with a cascade of silk flowers that matched her 11-year-old daughter Ava's dress, also by Monique Lhuillier.
- The styling: A white cathedral-length veil topped Reese's blonde tresses, which she wore down and straight with side part and a sweep of bangs.
We thought this Romona Keveza blush gown (left) captured the silhouette, sash, and color of Reese's gown, but we also noted another Monique Lhuillier look for its corseting detail. Squint your eyes a bit, mash up the two dresses and we say there's Reese's one-of-a-kind wedding gown. —Phillip B. Crook
