With a runway backdrop depicting Buckingham Palace and models donning jewel-encrusted tiaras, it was clear what inspired the newest Reem Acra collection. The dramatic, regal gowns featured lots of beading, embroidery, and feminine ruffles. My favorite looks were a gown with a short-sleeved illusion top covered in glam beading (right), and a demure strapless ballgown (right) featuring a layered chiffon skirt.
