There's nothing fragile or dainty about the bold floral dresses showcased in our April "Petal Pushers" story. We had a blast leafing through racks of dresses with skirts covered in silk-taffeta flowers (each the size of my head), bodices embellished with flower-shaped crystals, and minis in the shape of giant dandelions. Even a minimalist like me couldn't help but be seduced by the over-the-top blooms—especially the ones on the two-piece Ann Frances ensemble of a crystal-floral bustier and chiffon-poppy skirt. They also take the guesswork out of accessorizing. I'd let this number speak for itself and throw on a subtle pair of diamond studs, paint a red lip, and strut—I mean, walk—down the aisle.
