City hall was the perfect backdrop to showcase the fun, flirty dresses in our March fashion feature "A Short Story." I love that a low-key civil ceremony allows a modern bride the creative freedom to wear something outside the box, like all the short, sassy dresses we featured—from one covered in ostrich feathers to another that came with a hooded cape! Even separates aren't off-limits for our bride. The fashion department was especially abuzz when we received this adorable Reverie by Melissa Sweet two-piece ensemble. The puffed-sleeve lace top and the silk-organza tiered skirt are definitely pieces you can wear again (and style in completely different ways) after the big day.
