You gotta love a two-in-one dress, like this Jewel by Priscilla of Boston design with a detachable tulle bubble skirt. The Chantilly lace of the pleated ballgown is appliqued with Alencon to add a subtle texture inspired by 1950s proms. "The dresses have references of the glamorous 50's look—innocence and youth combined with feminine touches," says the designer. "The dresses are detailed with sequins and pearls just as they were in the 50's. A lot of the dresses are fitted and flattering through the body and finish into a full skirt. There are also touches of pink throughout to add even more femininity." For more `50s-inspired designs, browse our Wedding Dresses gallery. —Phillip B. Crook
