Runway Sketch Sneak Peek: Liancarlo

Wedding Dresses

Move over Black Swan, Liancarlo this season is all about Odette, the graceful white swan from Swan Lake. To complement the figure-hugging bodice softly draped in tulle, the skirt on this dress is made from yard upon yard of French tulle and silk organza that are hand-clipped to create the illusion of feathers. At the waist is a Swarovski and pearl encrusted sash. "Fabric is always a source of inspiration for me, how it moves, shapes and the emotions it evokes. None is more true than with this collection, it feels as if one is suspended in a dreamlike state," the designer said. Expect to see more Liancarlo gowns in Chantilly, French tulle, organza and satin. And until then browse past Liancarlo gowns in our Wedding Dresses gallery. —Phillip B. Crook
