Brianna and Andrew became engaged in 2008, following an unexpected proposal on Andrew's birthday. "When it was time for the cake, to my surprise, the icing read, 'Bri, will you marry me?'" Brianna says. The bride wore a satin gown by Casablanca Bridal, purchased from "I Do," Too! Bridal. "As I slipped it on, I could feel a smile coming to my face—and when I walked out to show my family my mom began to cry, so I knew it was the one," says Brianna. The 1 p.m. ceremony, was held at Our Lady of Sorrows in Farmington, the groom's childhood church, and included traditional Catholic readings and songs. After the ceremony, the festivities moved to the Italian American Banquet and Conference Center of Livonia. "We'd heard great things about the center's chefs," Brianna says. "Andrew is Italian, so delicious food was a real priority." For more of Brianna and Andrew's story, see the entire slide show.
