Google's virtual royal wedding tour

Celebrity, Royal Wedding

If you, like us, will be watching the royal wedding in front of a TV instead of on the crowded streets of London, then Google has come to your aid—make that your visual aid. With newly updated 3D imagery of central London via Google Earth, you can now virtually follow the processional route Will and Kate will take come April 29. Better still, it's practically a mini-tour of London's major attractions, giving you a birds-eye-view of Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Whitehall, the Mall and Buckingham Palace. If Google could throw in a quick stroll through the Tate Modern and a seat at the Globe Theatre, there'd be no reason to actually jet to London at all (just kidding).—Phillip B. Crook
